HomeExamples of InvestigationsImplants

Implants with special surfaces, such as hydrophilicized dental implants or modern drug-eluting stents, can be tested for foreign particles. Particle freedom plays a particularly important role with critical cardiovascular applications. Test solutions or liquid repositories are filtered through the filtr.AID-Membrane, then evaluated by the Particle Explorer, allowing us to identify the size and count of organic coating particles and other foreign particulate. This allows us to explore the optimal parameters for both the surface coating and the application of needed high quality for the coating. Routine analyses are thereby also available. If foreign particles are detected, they can be quickly and easily eliminated in the manufacturing process via particle identification.
